1. About these terms
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website autonomyacademy.org, our free community, training and jobs board, and any paid programme or service we provide (together, the "Services").
The Services are provided by Autonomy Academy Corporation Limited ("Autonomy Academy", "we", "us" or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16813537, registered address 8 Downs Avenue, Chislehurst, England, BR7 6HG).
By applying to, accessing or using any of our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Eligibility and applications
- Access to Autonomy Academy is by application and acceptance only. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.
- We may accept or decline any application at our discretion, and we are not obliged to give reasons.
- You must be at least 18 years old to apply.
- You agree that all information you provide in your application is accurate and truthful.
3. The free community, training and jobs board
If accepted, you may be given access to our free community, free training and free jobs board.
- The free community and training are provided for your personal educational use.
- We may post roles and opportunities on the jobs board. We are not the employer, recruiter or agent for these roles. We do not guarantee that any role is available, accurate, suitable, or that you will be hired. Any application, arrangement or agreement you enter into with a third party is solely between you and that third party, and we accept no liability for it.
- We may add, change, suspend or remove any part of the free Services, or revoke your access, at any time and at our discretion — for example if you breach these Terms or our community guidelines.
4. Paid programmes and payment
Where you purchase a paid programme or service:
- The price, what is included, and any payment plan will be set out to you before you buy.
- Payment is due as agreed. If you are on a payment plan, you remain responsible for all instalments.
- Payments are processed by a secure third-party payment provider. We do not store your card details.
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your access without affecting any amount you still owe.
5. Refunds and cancellations
- Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected by these Terms.
- Where you are a consumer buying online, you may have a 14-day right to cancel certain purchases. However, if you ask us to begin providing a digital or service-based programme during that period and then receive it, your right to cancel may be lost or reduced. We will make the position clear to you before you buy.
- Once a paid programme has commenced and you have been granted access to its materials and/or community, fees are non-refundable, save for your statutory rights set out above. Where you are on a payment plan, you remain liable for the full programme fee.
6. No guarantee of results or earnings
This is important, so please read it carefully.
- Autonomy Academy provides education, training, mentorship and community. We do not guarantee any particular result, income, earnings, job, client or level of success.
- Any examples, case studies, testimonials or figures we share are illustrative only and are not promises or typical results. Your results depend on many factors outside our control, including your own effort, skill, circumstances and the market.
- Nothing we provide is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
7. Your responsibilities and conduct
When using our Services, you agree that you will:
- Use them lawfully and only for their intended purpose.
- Treat coaches, staff and other members with respect.
- Not share, resell, copy or redistribute our training, materials or community content without our written permission.
- Not post anything unlawful, abusive, misleading, spam, or harmful within our community or jobs board.
- Keep your login details (if any) confidential.
We may suspend or remove any member who breaches these standards, without refund where the breach is serious.
8. Intellectual property
All content we provide — including training, videos, materials, branding, text and the website itself — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to access it for your own use. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from it without our written permission.
9. Third-party links and services
Our Services may link to or rely on third-party websites and tools. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of any third party, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.
10. Limitation of liability
- The Services are provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties.
- We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, income, business or opportunity arising from your use of the Services or your reliance on any information provided.
- Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
- Subject to the above, our total liability to you will not exceed the total amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access to any or all of the Services at any time if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or act in a way that harms us, our members or our reputation. You may stop using the Services at any time, though this does not entitle you to a refund except as set out in these Terms or required by law.
12. Privacy
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read it to understand how we use your data.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website with the "last updated" date shown. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
